Horse Show

Monday, June 7th, 2010

All of our horses did really well at the Delaware Riding Club Show. Miso Pretty and Mary Strang won the open harness class,(they did not show back) Such Spirit won the park pleasure stake and was reserve in the qualifier. She is owned by Kelley Norris and Steve showed her. She’s Extra Charming and Nichole Sedivec won the country pleasure championship, and Callaway’s Jess Luvon and Tracy Engel were reserve in both adult show pleasure classes. He is owned by Tracy’s mom, Jackie Hawkes. CH Broadway’s Mamma Mia! won the open 3-gaited class with Steve riding and I rode her back in the championship for the win. The weather was a little wet on Saturday and early Sunday, but the ring was near perfect Sunday afternoon. I judged the academy classes Sunday morning. They had a very good turnout. It’s nice to see so many people getting started in riding programs. It takes you back to where it all started.
